The Bottega

The Workshop is where everything takes shape

In the Bottega, in addition to some of the design and production of jewelry, we also design and create the physical elements of the brand: from the display stands for shops — built and welded by us — to the containers and boxes for the bracelets.

Production takes place in a decentralized manner in Northern Italy, with independent artisans who follow shared instructions and standards. Each piece passes through our hands before reaching you.

Good design is timeless.

If something is ugly, it cannot be the best solution. Aiming for longevity is a way to escape the grip of trends. If you can create something that will still be appealing in a hundred years, its charm comes from merit, not fashion.

Good design solves the right problem.

Our jewelry is not designed for display cases. It's designed to be worn every day—at the beach, in the city, in the shower. The problem we solve is real life.

Good design is evocative.

A good object should allow you to use it as you wish. Our jewelry is the backdrop to your life, not the star. They combine with everything because they impose nothing.

Good design looks easy.

Like great athletes, great artisans make everything look easy. But it's an illusion. The simplicity of an ABRA bracelet comes from hours of selection, testing, and re-tying knots. Apparent perfection is the result of practice.

Good design is like nature.

Nature has had a lot of time to solve its problems. Our colors come from the sea, strength from glass, flexibility from nylon. We don’t imitate nature — we trust its solutions.

Good design is simple.

Beauty depends on a few carefully chosen structural elements, not on a profusion of superficial ornaments. When you are forced to be simple, you are forced to address the real problem.
